We are a licensed Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) freight forwarder. An NVOCC is an ocean carrier that transports goods under its own House Bill of Lading, or equivalent documentation, without operating ocean transportation vessels.
Instead of operating its own ship or fleet, an NVOCC leases space to sell from other ocean carriers, or Vessel Operating Common Carriers. One way to think of an NVOCC is a shipper to carriers and a carrier to shippers.
FCL (full container load) is an ocean shipment in which the cargo occupies a full container (of any size). If you have it, we’ll ship it. We service all container types, whether it be 20ft, 40ft, 45ft, or refrigerated
LCL (Less than Container Load) or grouped shipment : the client’ goods are not numerous enough to fill a container, the goods of several clients are put into one container.
On-The-Spot Containers Stuffing
Container stuffing refers to the loading of cargo onto the container, with the aim to use as much of the container’s capacity while ensuring that the cargo will be protected from loss or damage during transit.
Multi-Modal Transport Operation
Freight that involves the use of more than one mode of transportation to transport goods from the supplier to the buyer, and it can be a combination of two or more of any means of transport, such as road, rail, sea or air freight.
Dry Bulk Shipments
Dry bulk cargo is a variety of solid goods that are transported by logistics company in large unpackaged units and measured as tons of deadweight tonnage (dwt). The weight of the cargo is carried by ships that are commonly referred to as bulk carriers. There is a variety of bulk carriers according to their capacity. Small mini-bulker can carry up to 10,000 DWT while giant-bulker has a capacity up to 400,000 DWT.
Also known as triangular operations or intermediation, cross trade shipments occur when cargo is shipped from one country to another without passing through the country that the shipper’s business has been registered in. They are generally coordinated electronically with the help of specialist freight forwarding companies to manage the logistics.
Multi Vendor Consolidation Services
Also known as supplier consolidation, vendor consolidation is a supply management strategy that has risen in popularity over the last decade. Put simply, it’s the process of reducing the number of vendors you work with to a smaller number, or a single partner.
Technology aside, multinationals often work with multiple partners in different countries or regions. That’s because most companies don’t have the geographical reach they might need. Or if they do, they won’t have the technological reach to support all your mix of vendors.
